About This Certification

The AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification validates foundational knowledge of cloud services and Microsoft Azure. It is designed for candidates beginning to work with cloud-based solutions and services. The certification demonstrates an understanding of cloud concepts, core Azure services, Azure pricing, SLA, and cloud lifecycle.

Exam Overview

The AZ-900 exam contains 40–60 questions with a 45-minute time limit. Question types include multiple-choice, multiple-select, drag-and-drop, and scenario-based items. A minimum score of 700/1000 is required to pass. Available at Pearson VUE centers and online.
