About This Certification

The Certified Case Manager (CCM®) credential is the gold standard for case management professionals across all healthcare settings. It validates expertise in coordinating care, advocating for clients, optimizing outcomes, managing resources, and navigating complex healthcare systems for diverse patient populations.

Exam Overview

The CCM exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (180 scored) with a 3-hour time limit. The exam covers six Essential Knowledge Domains identified through job task analysis and is administered by Prometric at authorized testing centers.
