About This Certification

The Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification, awarded by PMI, is the world's leading project management certification. It validates expertise in leading projects using predictive (waterfall), agile, and hybrid methodologies. PMP holders demonstrate the ability to deliver business value on time, within budget, and in scope across all industries.

Exam Overview

The PMP exam consists of 180 questions (multiple-choice, matching, hotspot, drag-and-drop) with a 230-minute time limit including two 10-minute breaks. Approximately 50% of questions address predictive (waterfall) and 50% address agile/hybrid approaches. Administered at Pearson VUE centers or online.
